We Will Rock You at The Dominion Theatre, Outside the Theatre, Cycling round Hyde Park, Exploring Camden Town, Big Ben in the evening, Outside the Hotel and Admiring Westminster.
It was my Boyfriend 21st last weekend so we spent the weekend in London which was lovely!. We kind of had to budget though being students we couldn't really splash out too much whilst we were there - all this really meant was just spending money on food, drink and travel whilst we were there! Rather than going shopping - which was good! Also meant the time shopping could be spent taking in what London had to offer, we managed to pack a lot in whilst we were there!.
We actually got the aeroplane down from Manchester to many peoples amusement, but the train would have been £130 each and BMI had a sale on so we got a flight for £25 each! And we got there within 45 minutes :) It was slightly more expensive on the way back so we just paid £9 each for the National Express which did take 5 hours to get home, but it was pretty comfy and as far as coaches go I was actually quite impressed, it wasn't half as bad as I was expecting as I wasn't really looking forwards to the journey home. I did manage to have a cheeky little sleep though so that will have cut the journey considerably.
The main reason for going to London was to see We Will Rock You in the West End. My boyfriend is a massive fan of Queen and I wanted to do something he'd remember for his 21st. Also I've been wanting to go to London for a while now, so it was perfect really! Took a lot of planning though I must admit and cost quite a lot too, but I don't even mind eating off cold beans for a month or too until I get some more money! Was definitely worth it!.
I'm not going to go into too much detail about what we did, we went to Camden as it was somewhere we both wanted to see whilst there! Apart from that just took the tube to wherever we fancied! Paid £20 for a takeaway (pizza and some curly fries) which seems ridiculous compared to prices here, but we were on holiday and it was nice, so it doesn't matter too much! It was just a really lovely weekend, topped off by the fact we found quite a few places with 2 for 1 cocktails :).
I should have posted this earlier but couldn't figure the html out - it's changed slightly since I last came on, or I've just not blogged in such a long time I can't remember, but I'll figure it out! Watch this space :)
