Marni for H&M

H&M have recently released their up-coming designer collaboration. Following the Versace craze last season H&M have now joined forces with Marni to bring a range of silky dresses, frilly cardigan and power prints including graphic polka dots and exotic florals. This collection is due to hit stores on March 8th. 

I'm actually beginning to really love H&M recently, I've had a love/hate relationship with them as a brand in the past. I didn't really use to have a H&M close, so when I got the opportunity to go and have a browse then couldn't find anything I liked, it was kind of disappointing. However I now have an H&M in town and I'm beginning to really like them again, the prices are always reasonably and the stock rotates regularly therefore I usually find something I like!..

My views on the collection; Although quite a few of the pieces are quite out-there for my style I think they will look amazing being styled in the right way, however I don't think I'd feel confident wearing them. I don't like overly powerful prints which some of these pieces are!. However I do really love the sequined collars and the polka dot top. I'm loving polka dots again at the moment and can see myself buying a few pieces for this s/s. I think the colour palette in this top is really complimentary too!. If I was to buy anything for this collection it would definitely be the sequin collar, the polka dot top and maybe even the striped leggings.
