Week in Pictures 26/02/12

Drawings for University project,  Pancake day, Homemade Lasagna, Me in my new Polka Dot dress and re-dyed hair.

I love looking at peoples summary of their weeks using Instagram. I'm really lusting after an Iphone at the moment just feel like I want a change from my Blackberry even though I do love it!. Anyway seen as I don't have Instagram I'll just have to make do with pictures from my camera until October when I can get an upgrade.

I spent a few days at home at the beginning of the week. Kind of felt like a needed a little break from Uni. I don't know if anyone else whose lived in halls feels the same but sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming being confine to a small space is annoying, it's nice to get away and have a different scenery than four walls!. Also having lazy/dirty flatmates doesn't help either. So it was lovely to have a few days back home spending quality time with my parents!. I even went along to my Mum's art class which was nice, spending time with her and doing something I enjoy and find relaxing. But by far the best thing about being home is being able to have a bath!. And ofc free food doesn't go a miss for a few days!. It was pancake day on Tues too of course, I like the idea of Pancake day but to be honest I don't love them! I can eat a couple but get bored of them easily.

Also made a lasagna today with my boyfriend which was AMAZING!! Definitely going to make more homemade meals in the near future, they taste so much better than frozen/ready meals. But to be honest the majority of the time I just like making something quickly that I can eat more a less straight away!. I do love being able to make something from scratch though and know exactly what's been put into it! It's also so much tastier!. Also re-found my love for polka dots this week. Found this Dorothy Perkins dress for £7 and had to have it! I've always loved polka dots but to be honest haven't really had anything in my wardrobe with them on. Definitely will be on the look out for more pieces in the future though. I think it's such a classy and timeless pattern.

  1. It's nice to see that you're still blogging! :) I never really missed home when I was in halls, but I did miss having baths! I live in a student house (cause I'm in my second year now) and I have a bath so that's great :D I can't believe how long it's been since I last had a blog post! That has to change :) It's nice to see that you're still doing well! xx
